Specialties: Sports Medicine, Knee Arthroscopy, Shoulder Arthroscopy, Minimally Invasive Surgery, General Orthopaedics

Fellowship trained at the internationally renowned Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center, Dr. Riederman founded the Sports Medicine Outreach Program at OrthoMaryland. He says, “I believe that educating our patients on the body’s physical structure, healing from injuries and returning them to optimal health is an awesome everyday opportunity. It is also extremely important and rewarding to teach about injury prevention and the importance of staying healthy and physically fit.”

Dr. Riederman served as a team physician for several local high schools, where he drew upon his past experiences as a basketball player, which allowed him to empathize with and educate the students. This was especially rewarding, as both a physician and a parent, while both of his children played high school basketball.

Dr. Riederman is the current President of OrthoMaryland. He participates in national and international orthopaedic courses and seminars staying current on the rapidly changing field of sports injury treatment.
